Login OTP Addon for AdFox

Introduction to the Login OTP Addon​

The Login OTP (One-Time Password) addon is a key component of the AdFox Universal Addons Bundle, enhancing platform security by integrating a robust OTP mechanism during the login process. This feature leverages Twilio's SMS service to send OTPs to users, adding an extra layer of authentication.

Configuring Login OTP Settings​

To enable the Login OTP feature in AdFox:

  1. Navigate to Login OTP Settings:

    • In the Admin Panel, go to Settings and click on the Login OTP tab.

  2. Enter Twilio Integration Details:

    • Fill in the required fields with your Twilio credentials:
      • Twilio Auth Token
      • Twilio SID (Account SID)
      • Twilio From Number (the phone number that sends OTPs)
    • After entering accurate details, save the changes.

  3. Enable the Login OTP Feature:

    • Activate Login OTP by toggling the enable option.

Using Login OTP in AdFox​

Upon activation, users will receive an OTP via SMS when attempting to log in. This OTP is required for successful authentication, significantly enhancing account security.
